The staff was lively and competent, the accommodation was pleasant and clean. The food was well presented at the café. The location was marvellous and perfect, opposite lovely leafy square near the river, convenient to go everywhere.

Location: the hotel was near restaurants & castle, France and a river boat. It also was in the Centre of Chinon. The breakfast was good, plus the location was fantastic.

Our stay was really lovely and we would book here again. The service was good throughout our stay. Besides, we parked on site. The location was very central, right by a seseparate restaurant, lovely leafy square near the river and town centre. It also was to the cafe for breakfast.

That was extremely convenient and fantastic little hotel set in nice safe area, very close to shops, cafes, restaurants and centre as well as comfortable restaurant. It had very nice helpful staff. The location was good and ideal - only a short distance to everywhere we wanted to go. Our experience here was enjoyable.

This is an excellent little place for an overnight stay. It boasts INCREDIBLE, ideal location so close to restaurants of Chinon, and the cafe for breakfast. The restaurant serves creative local food.

The location of this hotel was excellent, just a few minutes walk away from the city centre and fortress. It was great to be so centrally located, making it easy to explore the town. Additionally, the room we had was big with 2 separate bedrooms, which was perfect for our family as we were traveling with 2 young children. The staff at the hotel was friendly and provided good service, ensuring that our needs were met during our stay. The basic amenities in the room were satisfactory, and we appreciated the attention to detail in having separate bedrooms for our comfort.

The only minor issue we encountered was that the room was directly above the courtyard, so it was a bit noisy at night and in the morning. However, this did not significantly impact our overall experience at the hotel.

Typical French family hotel. Room comfortable, clean etc - not luxury (did not expect luxory). Restaurant surprisingly good (as you come to expect in France) - wine marvellous (Chinon).

There was inadequate space for the storage and hanging of clothes. We had to keep most in our suitcases, taking up floor space. The lighting avialable in the room was poor, though one appreciates the intention to reduce energy use.
